Oh what a night we had!

Our Gala Dinner at the very plush Avenue on St James, just past the Ritz, was a very lovely evening. In true VIE at home style, our High Flyers turned on the glamour, and their partners did too! Our special guest Mark Ramprakash (winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2006) was in fine form on the dance floor, and was a very lovely guy chatting to everyone about cricket and dancing - what a combination. Can't wait to see the photos, as everyone was in great spirits.

The evening started with cocktails, champagne and delicious appetisers (to help soak up the alcohol!), with photos with Mark. We then gave toasts to our High Flyers and their partners who are so key in their success. We presented to our achievers for 2 years a very luxurious Fortnum and Mason Champagne and Chocolate Hamper, in the famous pale blue colour ( I want the box please!), and we then tucked into a gorgeous 4 course meal with wines from South Africa, as we are in Cape Town mode!

Then it was on to dancing … when I left at just after midnight, the party was in full flow, with the dance floor full to bursting. I'm sure there were a few sore heads in the morning, but also sore faces from smiling and laughing so much! Thank you to everyone who came last night, for a fab evening with very happy memories.
