We're venturing into new markets....

Our MD Ros is off once again on her travels this week. Having said goodbye to Hong Kong, spent a few days in Tangmere (down on the south Coast at Vie HQ!) she is now off to Lebanon....

Here's a quick update Ros sent through from the airport:
'VIE at home is venturing into new markets and we are so excited by the success of our business in Lebanon with 1000 Consultant in just 1 year. I'm off to attend their big 2009 launch which is being held tomorrow at the Regency Palace Hotel, Beirut. Ibrahim who runs our business in Lebanon was in the UK for our NMS in January and I know how impressed he was by all our girls, (infact he was a little scared I think!). He has been in Direct Sales for many years and he says the success of VIE at home in Lebanon is much quicker than in other businesses he has run due to the high quality products. I am so looking forward to meeting his top Consultants, and finding out what their top tips are…….watch this space as I’ll be sharing them with you'

Our recruitment campaign has taken off!

With leaflets being dropped, adverts on the web and lots of our Managers out and about this week at a local level, it would be hard to miss our recruitment campaign!

Fun in Hong Kong

Another report has come in from our MD Ros, who is currently out in Hong Kong with over 80 of our Consultants and Managers enjoying a fantastic trip courtesy of Vie At Home. I think it's fair to say they are having a fabulous time, and I'm rather worried about whether any of them will remember to catch the plane home later.....

Well we are all feeling a little fragile this morning, after such a party last night! Free flowing Moet certainly was a winner with us, as well as a very exclusive venue, with great entertainment, Chinese Lions, Ribbon Dancers, Acrobats......and a fab band! Everyone, and yes I mean everyone was up and dancing.Spirits were high, and the atmosphere was wonderful......we didn't want the evening to end ( in fact I heard the West Midlands girls didn't let it end, and were last seen going into breakfast in their evening gowns at 6.30 this morning!)
Our VIPS had the perfect remedy to having a little too much Champagne, and were whisked away in Rolls Royce's for a pampering Reflexology treat.....perfect to get those tired tootsies back in shape before they hit the streets for just a bit more shopping. VIE at home girls have certainly helped the Hong Kong economy this week!
We have been made to feel so welcome, and have been made to feel like royalty.....many happy memories and friendships have been made, and everyone wants to come to Cape Town ( do you think Cape Town is ready for us?!)

Postcard from Hong Kong

We've just had our first Postcard back from Hong Kong, where over 80 Virgin Vie At Home Consultants and Managers are currently enjoying a 5* all expenses paid trip as recognition for their hard work and fantastic sales.

Here's a group of ladies with Ros, our Managing Director, at the famous Happy Valley Races in their own private box.....I am green with envy! (Just look at those views.)

Anyway, here's what Ros has to say about the trip so far:

Tonight we are off to our Gala Dinner at the very famous and exclusive members only club, the Aberdeen Marina, where our Virgins on Tour will be wined and dined, and drinking the ever flowing Moet! We have had such a lovely day, starting with Tai Chi as the sun was rising above the Hong Kong skyline. Once we had been re energised we went to see the largest Buddha in Asia, and had a very memorable lunch at a monastery. It has been the best incentive trip ever, so much fun and laughs, and great friendships have been made......more to follow soon, have got to glam up and go!

I shall wait and see if I get a further update for tomorrow, but I think it's fair to say they are having the most amazing time. Our incentive trip for next year will be to Cape Town and I'm determined I'm going to be on that one.....

Isn't it great when the sun shines!

I hope this sunshine lasts ... yes it might be a bit chilly outside but everything feels so much better when it's bright and sunny outside. Is it possible that we might be seeing the last of Winter, and the early signs of Spring (oh please don't blame me if I've spoken too soon!)

This week we're fairly quiet in the office. It's that time of year when everyone's using up their holiday allowance so there's lots of empty desks. We've also just sent a number of our Consultants (and a few head office bods) off to Hong Kong too, who have won their places out there as part of an incentive. Now I've just checked the weather report and it's really hot and sunny out there - so fingers crossed we can share some sunny pictures of their travels with you next week!

Comic Relief - better late than never!

We're trying to come up with fundraising ideas for Comic Relief today - and to be fair because it's a Monday the creativity needs a bit of a boost. I have offered to do a sponsored silence, but did put the caviat in that it had to be on the Thursday as I didn't want to be quiet for the whole of Comic Relief!

So if you have got any ideas please post a comment here - we want to raise lots of money!

Walls come tumbling down ...

It's a bit difficult to concentrate today. The builders are in knocking down walls, building new one's and generally drilling and banging holes in things! The result will be a bigger, more open office for us, but in the meantime we're hoping the phone doesn't ring (we can't hear what they're saying!) and keeping our heads down (the dust will play havoc with our make up!)

I have managed to maintain concentration long enough to load up a new offer on the website this morning (albeit taking slightly longer than normal!) It's a save £10 on our gorgeous Olive range when you buy all three products - which is a bit of a bargain and a possible idea for this year's Mother's Day? Watch this space for more over the coming days ...
