Very exciting week as we have just got our first offices in Germany just outside of Dusseldorf.

The picture here is of me with our German Sales and Marketing team, all experienced party plan experts who are so passionate and excited about creating a new business in Germany, which is one of the biggest Direct Sales markets in the world.

Pack up your barbeques ...

It's official - the met office got it wrong when they predicted a 'barbeque summer' back in April of this year and we're back to enjoying a typical British summer of rain showers - grrrrr! I've been regularly debating with friends and colleagues as to whether we've actually had the summer or if there's an indian summer to look forward to. I guess we'll just have to wait and see (as weather reports don't seem to be that reliable anymore!)

As it's payday this weekend, I thought I'd give you a gentle reminder about our Summer Sale ... it's only around for another week so make sure you take every opportunity to grab those last minute bargains (I don't know about you but I'm a bit depressed about seeing all the summer clothes cleared through in sale and winter woollies turning up in our clothes shops - surely it's not Autumn yet!)

Happy Birthday Carolyn!

Hello!

Here's a lovely photo of a very happy occasion on Saturday. Carolyn Passey's 50th birthday party held in a very glamorous location……great company, food and wine (well champagne of course if you know Carolyn as we do!), and so lovely to see 2 of our very special friends who used to work for VIE. The one and only Marie Firrell, and Nikki Prelogar who were key members of the Direct Sales Field team, and still love and use VIE products ( I checked out what they had in their make up bags of course!)…..so lovely to meet up with these special people and as you can imagine we had a fabulous time well in to the early hours!

Another flypast at VIE!

Following the red arrows a few weeks ago, we had a helicopter flyover today! It was so close you could see everyone inside. The amazing thing was it was flown by the husband of a lady that works here, hence our impromptu display. All very exciting!

I've attached a picture of everyone at Head Office having a look. I have no idea what type it was........quite a big helicopter is about the best I can manage!

Well, whatever you're flying about doing this weekend, have a great time.

Oh what a night!

OK so we didn't win at rounders last night (we were beaten by one measly run!) but we did have a lot of fun and raised quite a lot of money for charity, so all is good ... well apart from a few aching limbs at head office today.

Anyone know the rules for rounders?

It's all about the charity here at HO today ... we're raising money to help our friends at Carte Blanche who's offices are just down the road from us. They're doing the 'home to rome' race raising money for Southampton Hospital Charity. You can find out more and also make a donation here.

So far the day has involved breakfast eating and cake baking. Later on there's cocktails (non-alcoholic of course) and limbo 'ing' in the car park. The day's going to be drawn to a close with a rounders match vs. the Carte Blanche team. We're hoping for big things despite not yet knowing the rules!

Christmas is coming!

Hello VIE beauty bloggers.
The lovely Louise has set me up on this site and have to say have enjoyed reading the blogs so far! Just to say we are getting ready for a Sparkle and Shine Christmas this year, starting on Wednesday with our Press Show. We have some very influential jounalists attending and its the perfect excuse to sip Champagne with them whilst showing them all our new products! Our invites to our Consultants who have qualified for our action packed Christmas Launch on the 19th August will be sent out shortly, until then start dusting off your sparkles!

FitFlops - do I really need a pair?

All around me people seem to be wearing fitflops!

Not one to miss out on the chance of having a smaller and more toned bottom this would seem to be a shrewd investment.

Do you have a pair, are they any good?

My CEO Ros has not one, but two pairs of fitflops and wouldn't be without them! Apparently they are best worn with Cherry Pie Nail Colour (it goes with all shades of shoe I am reliably informed.)

As with everything - there is a downside.....a big price tag and you get a horrible white stripe across your foot when you're out in the sun.

The question is, should I or shouldn't I?

We love Essentials Magazine!

Sadly the boys from Take That have not been rushing to respond to tell me how much they'd love to be involved in our next Catalogue shoot to show off our Mens range. Very disappointing, so I cheered myself up this afternoon by reading Essentials Magazine.

Not one product but two are featured in this months magazine! So what's making them get excited? Our Pin Perfection has got them talking as it gets rid of any imperfections and make your legs flawless - we describe it as tights in a can. (If you've still not get your legs out and have english rose skin this product is a must have!)
Lets hope the sun comes back out soon so we can all give it a try!

The only person who didn't see Take That....

I am beginning to think that I'm the only female in the UK who hasn't seen Take That live over the last few weeks!
Just in case you're in the same boat as me I found this lovely picture of the boys all together a few weeks ago. Is it me, or are they getting better with age? (Either that, or I need new glasses!)
