We thought you’d like to see how the day went when we shot the Yummy Mummy Makeover DVD featuring Gaby Roslin, so we’re taking you behind the scenes of the day of filming for the makeover DVD.

6.00am The team set off on their journey to London with super strong coffees to wake them up.

9.00am The team arrive at Touch Studios in north London and set up in the ready for the day. Yvonne is straight to the kitchen to make more coffee.

9.15am Gaby arrives after her BBC London radio show - apparently she has to get up at 4am and starts work at 5.30am every day.

9.30am Gaby has her make up look done by Lisa Valencia. Gaby tells us how she is sensitive to Le Touché Éclat so Lisa shows her VIE at home’s Out of the Shadows - and we all know the magic tricks this little pen can perform.

9.45am Such a professional - Gaby is straight down to work and in front of the camera. Gaby even did this is one take! The team ask Gaby where she got her fab little jacket from - Gaby tells us it’s from Top Shop (So Louise tries to sneak off to Top Shop to see if she can get one too. We saw you Louise!)

9.50am Gaby passes over to Lisa who runs through the look with Nicky Gray our model for the day - rumour has it Nicky was a fantastic model and so easy to work with. Nicky also had a chat with Gaby (as you do) and learnt some hot make up tips from Lisa.

10.20am Lisa puts the finishing touches to Nicky’s natural beauty look. Doesn’t she look fantastic?

10.30am The team go through the video and check it’s all ok and then pack up talking about how fabulous Gaby was.

11.00am In the car on the way back everyone’s listening to Yvonne saying how she is now Gaby’s new best friend - aw come on Yvonne we’re not quite sure we believe you!

Who's going to Las Vegas?

Fun Fun Fun! Yes that’s all we are hearing from Cape Town and we can't wait for everyone to get back so we can see their tans and hear the stories……surely not everything On Tour stays on Tour?!


Last night was the Gala Dinner at the beautiful Castle and all we have heard (or been allowed to hear) was that there was much dancing, singing and changing of dresses?! A first for a trip to Cape Town we've heard…..our reputation is spreading!

Everyone is determined to get to Las Vegas and everyone is desperate to be a VIP as we know Ros and Susan giggle everytime they talk about Las Vegas…..its going to be amazing! And the personal sales and credits are stacking up very well with Gillian Cargill, Sylvia George and Sarah Fordham the top 3 for Personal Sales, and Amanada Churcher, Sue Bisp and Dawn Chaplin the top 3 to date on credits.

Cape Town update from Ros: A tour of the winelands

What a funny day yesterday, I have never seen such competitiveness between our teams and the Winelands Discovery tour showed our people at their best. Creativity is never an issue with our VIE girls!

Such fun and brilliant songs, words to be published when we are all back! And it was not a fix that the winning team was mine. It was all thanks to Carol Massey for her beautiful Wine label (she has much experience of looking at them!)

Last night we went to Pigalle and the venue had never seen virtually a whole group get up to dance before the main course.....we were just getting into practice for tonight and our Gala Dinner! Ros xx

Cape Town update from Ros

Sunset cruise around Cape Town was perfect....calm seas, a stunning sunset and plenty of entertainment.......we then went to Sevruga for dinner, and Crème Caramel Martini's! And who should we see but Cliff Richard who was entertained by our rendition of Summer holiday. The lovely Clara Smyth and Pat Love were 2 of his biggest fans!
Off to the winelands today....

This weekend our CEO Ros Simmons, along with a number of top performing Consultants from the business jetted off to Cape Town ... here's her first report,

"VIPs have arrived! And with a Champagne Cocktail called Flirtacious what better way to start our fun in Cape Town. After a lovely lunch the VIPSs have gone off to have a luxurious massage....can't wait to find out how they got on, maybe Rachie will have her fake tan hands buffed off!

Off to the pool for some sunrays, then getting ready for a fab dinner at a venue that Tiger Woods and Bill Clinton frequent....watch out!

Looking forward to seeing all our other VIE girls tomorrow on the top of Table Mountain....bring your shades and sunscreen with you girls its very hot here!
